How I used the new Photoshop Beta to save a wedding photo
Back in May I was hired to document a wedding ceremony in Nice. The event was small and intimate, and clearly meant a lot to the couple. It was also fairly short and I was new to the location, so I didn’t have time to pre-research it.
At one of the most crucial moments of the ceremony, when the couple came out of the Nice townhall, I was so focused on capturing the couple that I didn’t notice a huge traffic poll right in front of the groom. When I got home, I was so pleased with how every photo looked, and I went a little bit grey when I saw THE photo with the poll.

French Riviera Sunset beach Portraits
As a photographer on the French Riviera I have access to world’s most beautiful beaches at my fingertips.
But sometimes (most of the times) it’s not the beach that I am capturing, it’s the subject: a family, a couple, a business. For this shoot I had an idea of getting to capture the eyes, the hair and the golden hour light.
Photographer in Provence
I knew that May was too early to go looking for lavender fields in Provence. Regardless, I planned a girl trip just to breath the provençal air one weekend in May when the stars aligned for my friend and I to go away for a couple of days.
We were lucky to catch the poppy season still in full force. Fields and fields of poppies is truly a sight to behold.
The conclusion after the weekend in one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been is I’ll have to go back there in every season.
Civil ceremony in Nice
I was honoured to document a wedding ceremony in the beautiful Hotel de Ville in Nice. I love capturing emotions but was very nervous about the pressure of a wedding. I trust my gear but you never know if and when it might give up on you, and wedding is such a once in a lifetime event that you won’t be able to reply if the light was not right or if the SD card erased everything just because.
But I’m happy to report that everything went perfectly and I now have a happy couple looking at the memories I helped creating.
Yoga by the pool
Outdoor photography is my favourite. Even in harsh light, I am excited to work with the conditions I get and work through the most difficult ones.
As a branding photographer, I need to adjust to my client’s timing and most businesses work 9-5 when the light isn’t the best. I am also a mother and have to work around my kids’ schedules. So sunrise/sunset sessions are not always possible.
La Reserve Plage, a perfect photo spot in Nice
The pearl of Côte d’Azur, Nice is beautiful in every way. Here you have Vieux Nice, Promenade des Anglais, world famous museums and stunning restaurants. There are however spots where the locals go and I wanted to take you there today with my recent photos.
The beach La Reserve is a rocky, relatively quiet beach (compared to the beaches along the Promenade, of course) that is still walking distance to many Nice’s hot spots. The white rocks and the azure backdrop are stunning and are a wonderful area to take photos if you’re looking to make memories whilst visiting French Riviera. Take a look for yourself!

Let’s document your motherhood as we inch closer to Mother’s Day which will take place on June 4th this year. Beach, park, a flower field near your home. Any place works to take a snapshot in time of your motherhood journey.
Biot et les templiers
After nine years without the festival, 2023 took us back to the XIIIth century for the 7th edition of Biot et Les Templiers. This small hilltop village is famous for its history dating back to 154 BC, and the Templars are a huge part of it.
The weekend of March 31-April 2 marked the return of the festival, and our village welcomed over 50,000 visitors over these three days. I took the first two days of the event to just wander around and enjoy this journey through history, filled with knight battles, birds of pray displays, medieval entertainment and rustic markets.
The light straight out of photographer’s dreams
Visiting Lake Como in the off season is an experience in itself, without the usual summer crowds and the milder temperatures. Picking up my camera and getting THE shot after THE shot was so easy, and the reason is that mid season light.
Staying near Varenna and hopping the main three tourist towns on Lake Como on the regular ferries was so fun and rewarding, as I had to do very minimal edits to my Italian photos. The architecture, the nature, and, did I mention, the LIGHT, my camera roll was very happy.
Midday portrait session
I consider myself a professional at taking photos in the midday light, the light that every photographer I know would tell you THE worst you can have. I simply never had much choice so had to adapt to this light, and in all honesty I don’t hate it.
Weekend in Marseille
As a new person in France, there are still so many places for me to explore and photograph here. And I have ticked another city on my must-visit list last weekend. Marseille! I’ve heard so many things about it, and how busy it gets in the summer, that a weekend trip in February worked perfectly.
