An Intimate Couples Session in Antibes

There’s something special about photographing a couple in Antibes. The light, the sea, the warm colors of the Old Town—everything feels effortlessly romantic. Grace and Nick’s couples session was exactly that: simple, intimate, and full of the kind of moments that remind me why I love being a French Riviera photographer.

We met by the ferries wheel in Antibes and slowly wandered toward the beach, letting the session unfold naturally. They were already engaged, but this wasn’t an engagement shoot—just a chance to capture their love during their time on the French Riviera. I love when couples take time to do that, whether they’re traveling or simply wanting to freeze a chapter of their story.

As we walked through the charming streets, I photographed the quiet gestures that truly define them—little smiles, the way they reached for each other, the softness in their eyes when they thought I wasn’t looking. Sessions like this are why couples photography in Antibes is such a dream. The town gives so much texture and warmth, but the emotion always comes from the couple.

By the time we reached the beach, the light had turned golden and everything slowed down. The waves, the calm breeze, the soft colours—it all created the perfect setting for a romantic photoshoot in Antibes. Grace and Nick relaxed even more, fully present with each other, and their connection showed in the most natural way.

At the end of the session, I messaged Grace:
“I hope I managed to capture at least a glimpse of your love story.”

Grace replied,
“You did… you captured the part of our story we don’t often show.”

That sentence meant everything. As a couples photographer in the South of France, this is exactly what I hope for—to photograph the quiet, honest parts of a relationship, the ones that usually stay unspoken.
